Anita was always adored by her family and friends, she has been able to pursue her true passion of helping her people by spending most of her career volunteering for her charities. For 20 years she and a dear friend ran an organization they founded together that provided GED and job training to youth and adults in Washington, DC.
MMTI has opened a scholarship fund in Anita name. This would continue her passion to help people through education, GED recipients that are going to graduate to college.
